Auditorium Assessment Shared at June Board Meeting

At last night's board meeting, the administration shared a recent assessment of the HS auditorium. The assessment showed that there is some immediate work to be done to upgrade the stage rigging. It also outlines some exciting new potential upgrades to the auditorium including additional seating, better ADA accessibility, and upgraded lights, AV and acoustics.

Next steps include:

• Gain clarity on the safety of rigging and ability to host events in auditorium versus external site until upgrades are able to be made,
• Discuss further with Board of Education as part of the July 18 work session and seek public input,
• Determine scope and timeline, as well as the funding approach.
