Building the Future Project Details Understanding OFCC Funding Facilities History

The total project cost is $67.46 million. The OFCC will contribute approximately $11.5 million to the project. The local share/bond issue amount will cover the remaining $55.9 million.

The project includes:

Abating and demolishing the current Milford Junior High School
Construction of a new middle school to house grades 6-8. The OFCC has estimated that the total size of the building will be 215,000 sq. ft. The building will be built to house approximately 1,600 students.
Design and construction of improved traffic circulation on the high school/junior high campus.
Possible abatement and demolition of Miami Elementary School building, current site of Milford Preschool, Milford Extended Day, and Milford Academy.
