Secondary Course Selection Guides
Secondary Curriculum & Instruction
In Milford, we strive to create a classroom culture that engages students in academic work that results in high levels of achievement and growth.
Ohio's academic content standards are statements that describe what all students in Ohio should know and be able to do by the end of each grade. They help families, students, and educators know what to expect students to be learning at each grade level. View the academic content standards on the Ohio Department of Education website.
Advanced Placement Program
Milford High School currently offers 24 AP classes. Click on the link below for details of the AP program including summer assignments.
College and Career Readiness
The Board views career advising as helping students understand themselves relative to their abilities, aptitudes, interests, attitudes, strengths, and limitations. This process is meant to assist students in the development of their potential and their decisions relating to educational and career matters.
College Credit Plus
A meeting about College Credit Plus is held every year at Milford High School for parents and guardians of Milford junior high and high school students. College Credit Plus, Ohio’s program that is replacing PSEO (post-secondary education option), is presented by the Milford High School guidance counselors.
