Register for Preschool for 2024-2025
Milford's 5-Star Rated Preschool lottery for the 2024-2025 school year opens on January 3, 2024 and runs through February 2, 2024. Parents will be informed of lottery results the week of February 12, 2024.
Children must be 3 years old and potty trained by the start of school.
What's new?
- Milford has moved to a lottery process to ensure access to the program is fair and equitable. No more waiting in line outside the preschool to submit your application!
- Please remember that the Kindergarten age has been updated and, beginning this fall, children must be 5 years old by August 1 to enroll in Kindergarten.

PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2024-2025
New Students
Registration for the 2024-2025 school year lottery opens on January 3, 2024 and runs through February 2, 2024. Directions for registering are below and will go live at 6:00 AM on January 3, 2024.
Parents will be informed of lottery results by mail the week of February 12, 2024. This information will include the process for confirming your child’s spot and paying the $65 registration fee.
Returning Students
If your child attended the Milford Preschool this year and will be returning next year, you should have submitted your intent already guaranteeing your child is returning for the 24-25 school year. Please DO NOT fill out the intent to register linked below.
General Preschool/Extended day Information:
The Milford 5-Star rated Preschool is an integrated preschool. Each class may have 16 children with no more than 8 receiving special education services. Each classroom is staffed with a teacher certified in general education and special education and two classroom aides.
Preschool ONLY
3-year old typical Preschool (Mon-Thurs 9am-11:30pm) $59/week
4-year old typical Preschool (Mon-Thurs 1pm-3:30pm) $59/week
*No preschool tuition is required by law for children who qualify for special education services. Typical students must be potty trained.
Extended Day
Extended day is a program that runs from 6:30am-6:30pm and is a separate program from preschool. We offer care for your child before/after your child’s preschool class.
5 days (Mon-Fri) = $145/week for typical and special needs students
4 days (Mon-Fri) = $132/week for typical and special needs students
*children who are signed up for 5 days extended day will be in extended day all day on Fridays due to preschool not being in session.
PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION PROCESS 2024-2025
This is for NEW students only
Step 1
Complete the "Intent" to register form. This notifies us that you are beginning the process, and we can help monitor your progress toward completion.
Intent Form will be available at 6:00 a.m. on January 3, 2024
Step 2
Complete FinalForms for each student that is being enrolled.
Step 3
Upload the following documents directly into the student’s FinalForms account:
- Color scan/photo of the original birth certificate
- Color scan/photo of parent’s driver's license
- Vaccine Record
- Court/Custody Documentation/Divorce Decree/Shared Parenting Plan (when applicable) full document, no redactions; filed and stamped.
- Proof of residency
- Board-approved documents include: water or electric bill (active and current, dated within the last 60 days), current lease agreement, mortgage account statement (dated within the last 60 days), property tax bill, tax statement from the Clermont County Auditor website, purchase agreement on a house that will close within the next 60 days, or a notarized document stating that you will be building in the district within the next 90 days.
- If you live with a Milford resident and cannot provide one of the above, you may be considered for a residency affidavit. Contact the Milford Administrative Offices at 513.831.1314 for further details.
Preschool for the 2023-2024 School Year

4-yr old Typical Preschool* (Mon-Thu, 1:05p-3:35p) = $59.00/weekly
3&4-yr old Special Needs Placement No Preschool tuition as required by law
PRESCHOOL WITH EXTENDED DAY
4 days Extended Day w/Preschool (Mon-Thu, 6:30a-6:30p) = $191.00/weekly (Typical), $132.00/weekly (S/N)
5 days Extended Day w/Preschool* (Mon-Fri, 6:30a-6:30p) = $204.00/weekly (Typical), $145.00/weekly (S/N)
*Preschool children are in Extended Day all day on Fridays.
REMEMBER THAT YOUR CHILD WILL NEED TO BE TOILET TRAINED (SPECIAL NEEDS EXCEPTION), HAVE AN UPDATED MEDICAL AND DENTAL EXAM, AS WELL AS PROOF OF IMMUNIZATION IN ORDER TO ATTEND.
TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED.
AFFIDAVITS OF RESIDENCY
The Milford Exempted Village School District Residency Affidavit forms must be completed if the custodial parent/guardian is living with a Milford Resident and does not have a lease or mortgage in their name.
The residency affidavits must be signed and notarized in the presence of a Milford staff notary. You must call 513-576-4178 to make an appointment for the notary. Owners/Residents must also provide proof of residency at the time of notarization (utility bill issued within 60 days, cannot be a disconnect notice), or lease agreement.
Please contact the Central Registration Office at 513-576-4178 to obtain specific information regarding what documents are necessary to provide proof of residency in addition to completing the attached forms.
