Milford's Future Educators Top State Competition

Students in Milford High School’s Teaching Professions Academy participated in the Educators Rising Ohio's conference on March 15 and 16. They participated in professional development and competed in events aimed at demonstrating their skills and knowledge related to the teaching profession.
The following students were recognized at the state level. Students who earned top 5 recognition will be moving on to nationals!

Milford also earned the Honors Chapter Distinction which is based on community service and overall chapter grade point average.
In addition, Milford High School was honored for raising $4,525 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and was recognized for the largest donations made in the Educators Rising Service Learning Project throughout the entire state of Ohio Milford High School Student Council also assisted in the Leukemia Society fundraiser with a $1000 donation.
Kudos to MHS Teacher Professions instructor Jennifer Norsworthy and special thanks to Milford teachers Debbie Hendrixson who accompanied students to the conference and serves with Mrs. Norsworthy as the co-advisor for TPA.
