He has led professional development sessions for educators on a variety of topics: the flipped classroom, use of technology in the classroom, Edpuzzle, and self-guided learning.

“Shane has demonstrated leadership in the classroom and building and an incredible heart for students and an incredible level of energy and work ethic. I believe Shane will bring his passion and dedication to our goals in this new role and will be an exceptional addition to our team,” said Milford High School Principal Josh Kauffman.

In addition to being a successful teacher in the classroom, Mr. Ferguson has coached with Milford’s basketball program for 11 years, the baseball program for 4 years, and has participated in numerous building and district committees. He is currently the JV head/assistant varsity boys basketball coach at Milford High School.

“Words cannot express how excited I am to be a part of the high school team. I look forward to working with our staff, parents, and community to provide our students with the best possible experience throughout their high school career,” Mr. Ferguson said.
