Milford Board of Education Seeks Applications for New Board Member
Due to a Board Member resignation on December 23, 2023, the Milford School Board is seeking candidates to fill a vacant board position. On December 27, 2023, the Board discussed and agreed upon the appointment process outlined below during a Special Board Meeting.
- Applications open on December 28, 2023 via Google Form.
- Applications must be submitted by January 8, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
- Applications will be reviewed by designated Board Member Emily Chesnut, Superintendent John Spieser, and Treasurer John Espy on January 9, 2024.
- Four candidates will be invited to interview with the Board as a part of Executive Session during the Organizational Board Meeting, which has been moved from January 4, 2024 to January 11, 2024 to allow for more time for the public to participate in the process. Interviews will be 20 minutes long.
- The Board will vote to appoint a new Board Member as part of the January 11, 2024 Organizational Meeting.

All interested members of the community are invited to apply. Board members must meet eligibility requirements per the Ohio Secretary of State, which include:
