After testing, this was a chance to reset, recharge, and refocus. Students rotated through interactive stations centered on mental health, connection, and resilience, including words of kindness, trust-building obstacle courses, yoga, and more.

It was a day to slow down, support one another, and have some fun along the way!

Our second grade students put all that energy to use during last night’s pajama-themed musical. From dreams of monsters to moments that had the whole crowd smiling, they brought the stage to life in their PJs.

After the final bow, they were already ready for bed in the same outfits they rocked on stage.

The spirit of collaboration is at the core of America, and you can see it on full display at Pattison Elementary.

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Pattison students and staff came together to create a mosaic mural now selected for display at UC Clermont College Art Gallery as part of the Clermont County Student Art Show.

Built from hundreds of individual pieces, it reflects the same spirit of collaboration that shaped our country and continues to shape our schools today.

See it next week and read the story behind it:

For Milford High School junior Michael Yanzito, poetry became a way to say what he could not.

After the loss of his father, Michael turned to writing to process what words often could not express out loud. His poem, “The Mask of a Mourning Son,” earned first place in the high school division of the 2026 Paul Laurence Dunbar Poetry Contest, capturing the reality of grief behind the face we show the world.

As the anniversary of his father’s passing and his father’s birthday approach, this recognition takes on even greater meaning. Michael dedicated this poem to his father, but it also gave him something he had not been able to find before: a way to be heard.
