Our seniors are signing off.

Today, members of the Class of 2026 celebrated their Senior Sunrise with donuts, treats, photos, and plenty of memories. Students spent the morning signing yearbooks, laughing with friends, and soaking in some of their final moments together as classmates.

While their paths may soon take them in different directions, the memories, friendships, and moments they’ve shared at Milford will stay with them long after graduation day.

here’s always a first.

Your first car. Your first job. Your first... school lunch.

Yesterday, Ms. Cowell’s kindergarten students at Mulberry got to experience their very first school lunch! Since these half-day kindergarteners normally don’t get the chance to eat lunch at school, Ms. Cowell decided it was time for a little practice before they become big-time first graders next year.

Students went through the lunch line, sat together at the tables, and learned all about cafeteria expectations and respectful lunchroom behavior. Safe to say they handled it like pros.

One more way our students are preparing for the future, one first at a time. ❤️

Creativity, imagination, and just 100 words. That’s all it took for students at Boyd E. Smith Elementary to earn national recognition.

Students in Mr. Parnin’s class last year were recently named first-place winners in the Young Writers “Magic Map” competition, a nationwide contest that challenges elementary students to craft original short stories around a central theme.

Read more about the competition and the incredible stories they created, and join us in congratulating these young authors on a national achievement!

The lesson this week? Gratitude.

It is Teacher Appreciation Week, and across Milford, our staff is being celebrated in a big way. From delicious meals and treats to creative themes and surprises, our buildings are filled with appreciation and well-earned recognition.

Behind every lesson, every encouraging word, and every extra moment spent after the bell, our teachers go above and beyond for our students. They show up each day ready to support, inspire, and make a difference. That impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

A huge thank you to our incredible PTOs and PTAs for helping make this week so special.

To our teachers, thank you for everything you do for our students, our schools, and our community. We appreciate you.

According to the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce, only 4% of public school districts in Ohio charge tuition for kindergarten.

Milford is no longer among them.

We believe a strong start in school builds the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, all-day kindergarten will be tuition-free for every student.

With more time for instruction, collaboration, and exploration including Unified Arts like P.E., Music, Art, and Library our students gain both the academic and social skills they need to grow.

The spirit of collaboration is at the core of America, and you can see it on full display at Pattison Elementary.

To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Pattison students and staff came together to create a mosaic mural now selected for display at UC Clermont College Art Gallery as part of the Clermont County Student Art Show.

Built from hundreds of individual pieces, it reflects the same spirit of collaboration that shaped our country and continues to shape our schools today.
