Our retiree spotlight series continues with someone who has made a lasting impact on students across Milford Academy and Milford High School, Patrick Murphy!
After 32 years with Milford Schools as an Intervention Specialist, Pat is beginning a well-earned retirement filled with travel, family, and plenty of time with his four granddaughters.
When reflecting on his time at Milford, Pat shared that some of his favorite memories are when former students return to visit. His advice to future educators? “Keep the faith and always be there for the students because you make a tremendous impact on them.”
This summer, Pat and his wife plan to travel to Lake Cumberland, Gulf Shores, and Florida before heading overseas later this year to visit Christmas markets in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany.
Thank you, Pat, for the countless lives you’ve impacted throughout your career and for always being there for Milford students when they needed it most. Wishing you a retirement filled with adventure, relaxation, and lots of family memories!
