Mulberry Elementary is getting into the STEAM of things! 🎨🔬📚
Yesterday, 5th grade students brought the book Bud, Not Buddy to life by creating handmade posters, guitars, and huts inspired by the story and its themes. Students combined creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork to design their projects while connecting deeper with the novel they’ve been reading in class.
Meanwhile, our kindergarteners in Ms. Cowell’s class became little scientists of their own! Students applied sunscreen to black paper and left it outside in the sun all day to test how the sun’s rays would affect the paper. What a fun and hands-on way to explore science and learn about sun protection!
