Superintendent Profile
The Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC) has created the Superintendent Search Profile for Milford Exempted Village Schools.
This profile was developed using the feedback from staff, students, families, and community members through our recent ThoughtExchange and in-person sessions. It highlights what makes Milford special and provides potential candidates with a deeper understanding of our District.
From our tradition of academic excellence to our award-winning arts and athletics, from our strong community partnerships to the incredible support shown by our families, Milford is a place where students thrive and staff are proud to work. This profile gives candidates a true picture of who we are and what sets us apart as a District.

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Milford Board of Education selected six finalists for the superintendent position based on the recommendation of the Hamilton County Educational Service Center (HCESC).
These candidates were identified through a comprehensive process guided by the leadership profile developed from staff and community feedback sessions facilitated by HCESC. The Board extends its sincere appreciation to all who contributed their input and helped shape the qualities and priorities sought in Milford’s next superintendent.
The six finalists are:
Mark Edwards, Assistant Superintendent, Reading Community City School District
Stace Puerta, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, Loveland City School District
Jill Hollandsworth, Director of Curriculum and Technology, New Richmond Exempted Village School District
Suzanna Davis, Senior Director of Student Services, Middletown City School District
Kim Tinsley, Assistant Superintendent, Forest Hills School District
Bobbie Fiori, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Special Services, Beavercreek City Schools
The first round of interviews will take place on November 12, conducted by a panel of Milford community members, staff, and stakeholder representatives. Second-round interviews with the Board will follow on November 19 and 20. Following these rounds, the candidate pool will be narrowed to a small group of finalists who will move forward to the final stage of the process.
To ensure transparency and continued community engagement, the Board will host a “Meet the Candidates Night” on December 9, open to all staff and community members. This event will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the finalists and learn more about their vision for Milford Schools. Additional event details will be shared soon.
What Happens With My Feedback?
All input—both from ThoughtExchange and the in-person session—will inform the Superintendent Profile. This document will guide HCESC and the Board in identifying candidates who reflect Milford’s priorities and values.
The superintendent search process does not end with the posting of the position. In the weeks ahead, there will be additional rounds of interviews that include input from staff, students, families, and community members. The Board also plans to host Meet the Candidate Nights, where finalists will engage directly with the community.
Details about these opportunities will be announced as the process moves forward. Please check back here frequently for the latest updates and information.
