Congrats Dan Yeager

Milford Exempted Village School District is proud to announce that Dan Yeager has been selected as the next principal of Charles L. Seipelt Elementary School, pending Board of Education approval at the July 10 meeting.

Dan, who has served Milford students and families since 2010, will step into this role from his current position as 9th Grade Associate Principal at Milford High School. He began his career in the district as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Milford Junior High, a role he held for eight years. He later served as the district’s Director of Fine Arts for three years, supporting programs across all grade levels. For the past four years, Dan has worked closely with incoming freshmen at the high school, leading the 9th Grade Academy and providing academic support and processing systems to help students successfully transition into high school life.

Throughout the interview process, Dan shared a clear vision for Seipelt centered on five core themes: visibility, vulnerability, growth, voice and trust, and valuing the whole child. These themes, developed through his experience teaching and leading in education, resonated with both district leadership and Seipelt staff. His student-focused presence and the trust he has earned within the Milford community further strengthened his candidacy.

“I am humbled to accept the position of Principal at Charles L. Seipelt Elementary School,” said Dan. “I’m excited to begin this journey and look forward to meeting the incredible students, staff, and families that make Seipelt such a special place.”

The vacancy created by Dan’s transition is currently being reviewed by district leadership. A plan to fill the 9th Grade Associate Principal role at Milford High School will be shared once a candidate has been identified.

Please join us in congratulating Dan Yeager as he begins this exciting new chapter at Seipelt Elementary.
