Milford Exempted Village School District is excited to share that T.J. Glassmeyer, Jr. has been selected as the district’s new Director of Human Resources, following today’s Special Board Meeting.
T.J. brings a deep background in both educational leadership and human resources, with hands-on experience in staff wellness, contract negotiations, job description development, interview protocols, and Title IX compliance. Most recently, he served as Learner Well-Being & Supports Supervisor for Mason City Schools, where he led district-wide efforts in counseling, mental health, attendance, and threat assessments—building systems of care that support both student success and staff well-being.
“T.J. made a great impression on our entire interview team,” said Superintendent John Spieser. “We heard glowing recommendations from past employers who praised his thoughtful leadership and systems work. He brings a strong ability to support both people and processes, and we’re excited for you all to meet him as he visits buildings this year.”
Currently pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Miami University, T.J. is committed to building sustainable, data-informed systems that strengthen HR practices and support staff and student success. He is eager to begin connecting with staff and learning about the work happening across the district.
Milford is also excited to announce the transition of Haley Colwell to the newly established role of Director of Special Education. With more than 1,900 identified students currently being served, this new position reflects the district’s growing needs and our commitment to meeting the full continuum of services for all learners.
Please join us in welcoming T.J. Glassmeyer to Milford Schools and congratulating Haley Colwell on her new role.
