Starting next school year, busing eligibility for Milford Schools will follow Ohio’s state minimum requirements due to recent budget adjustments. What does this mean? - Only students in grades K-8 who live more than two miles from their school will be eligible for transportation. - High school students will no longer receive district transportation. We understand this change may impact families, and we’re here to support you during this transition. Today, Milford Junior High made history as students and staff bid farewell to the current building and embraced the future with the new Milford Middle School! The steel beam will be proudly placed in the new school’s cafeteria—a lasting tribute to the Milford legacy.
Ohio's annual sales tax holiday has grown to 10 days, just in time for back-to-school shopping, running Tuesday, July 30 to Thursday, Aug. 8.
According to the Ohio Department of Taxation, the sales tax waiver will cover all tangible personal property that is $500 or less. Watercraft, vehicles, alcohol, tobacco, vapor products and items containing marijuana are not included in the holiday. See more information on the Dept. of Taxations website.
