Milford High School Principal Community Feedback Session

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Principal Feedback Survey! The survey is now closed, and the results are currently being reviewed by our partners at K-12 Business Consulting, Inc. to help develop a candidate profile. This profile will guide District leadership in understanding the qualities our community, staff, students, and families value most in a future principal.

But we’re not done listening—your voice still matters!

Join us for an in-person feedback session on Thursday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Milford High School. This is your chance to share what’s most important to you as we search for the next leader of our school.

Milford Exempted Village School District has officially begun the process of selecting a new principal for Milford High School for the 2025–2026 school year. The District recognizes how vital this role is to the success of our schools and wants to reassure families, students, and staff that this hiring decision will be made with great care and intention.

To ensure a thoughtful selection process, Milford Schools is partnering with K-12 Business Consulting, Inc. to lead community engagement efforts and develop a strong candidate profile. One of the most important parts of this process is gathering input from those who know the school best—our students, families, and staff.

On Thursday, April 17, focus groups will be held to gather input that will help guide district leadership in selecting a candidate who best reflects the qualities and characteristics of our community values.

Before April 17, we invite all interested students, staff, and community members to complete the Milford High School Principal Questionnaire. If you are unable to attend a focus group session, this questionnaire is a valuable way to ensure your voice is heard.

April 17 Focus groups will be held as follows at Milford High School:

  • Milford High School Students: Lunch with Pizza (Media Center)

    • Students will be selected to represent the student population at all grade levels.

  • Milford High School Staff: 2:45–3:30 p.m. (Media Center or Former Weight Room)

  • District Office Staff / Board of Education: 4:30–5:15 p.m. (Glass PD)

  • Milford Community: 6:30–7:15 p.m. (The Zamudio Theatre)

    • We strongly encourage community participation. These sessions are a vital opportunity to share your insights, hopes, and expectations for the next principal of Milford High School.

After these feedback sessions, a final candidate profile will be submitted. Interviews are scheduled to begin at the end of April and continue through May, with opportunities for staff to be involved in the interview process. Our goal with this process is to have a selected candidate for Board recommendation on May 15, 2025.

Milford Schools is committed to finding a leader who embodies the values, culture, and vision of our high school community. Your input matters—thank you for helping shape the future of Milford High School.
