She may have led a junior high, but her leadership has always been major league. Congratulations to Misty Goetz, OASSA Ohio’s Middle School Principal of the Year!
From launching student-led programs to mentoring educators across the state, her impact reached far beyond the walls of Milford Junior High.
Please join us in celebrating this well-deserved recognition for an extraordinary leader who continues to shape the future of Milford Schools! Learn more at: https://www.milfordschools.org/article/2365913

At Milford Middle School, getting caught in the WEB is still a good thing — and this year, there’s even more to catch!
You may have spotted these student leaders at the school’s official ribbon cutting on Friday, August 8, guiding community members through the brand-new building. Or maybe you saw them this morning, greeting incoming 6th and 7th graders at the doors and helping them find classrooms on their very first day.
With the school now serving grades 6–8 under one roof, the Where Everybody Belongs (WEB) program has expanded in a big way — attracting more than 120 applications from students eager to lead. These 8th-grade WEB Leaders are making sure every new student feels welcome, connected, and ready to soar.

Students may be off campus for the summer, but the butterflies and bees are still hard at work! Thanks to the care of our students during the school year, the pollinator garden behind Milford High School is now in full bloom. This beautiful space was relocated and maintained by students and is buzzing with life.
Looking ahead, Milford staff and community partners from Love Our Land are planning guest lessons and hands-on learning opportunities for students this fall. Stop by to take in the sights, smells, and pollinators in action!
