ECC 10-12

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Caylob Brasington and Bryce Melgard: Football

Caylob, a junior wide receiver, tallied his second consecutive 100-yard receiving game, and third of the season, against Kings. He finished with eight receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns. Bryce, a junior defensive back, finished the game with a career-high 19 tackles. The mark is the most by a Milford player this season.

Lydia Berube: Girls Volleyball

Lydia hit .450% this week against Turpin, Ursuline, and Winton Woods as an outside. She also dug 12 balls against Ursuline in a three-set match as a six-rotation outside. Lydia is a vocal leader, and she is a top-four kill leader in the ECC.

Kendal Boots: Girls Soccer

Kendal scored our game-winning goal in a huge ECC match against Little Miami. It was a must-win game to keep us at the top of the conference, and Kendal helped secure the win with her calm and collected scoring ability. As a true defender, she is a shockingly talented winger!

Milford Boys Cross Country Senior Leaders

Seniors Andrew Dochterman, Jacob Eminger, Lucas Ford, Phineas List, Henry Newman, Keegan Oldendick, Nathan Sabo, Parker St. Clair, and Tate Sheldon have made immeasurable contributions to the Milford boys XC program, Milford High School, and their community over the course of their careers. These men have helped establish a standard of excellence in the classroom, on the course, and in the way they interact with the community that will carry on after they graduate. Milford is a better place for their having been a part of it, and their accomplishments on the course are not yet finished.

Milford Girls Cross Country Seniors

Congratulations to Elle Campbell, Lauren Johnson, Katie Reckman, Marina Chiapelli, Natalie Edwards, Shahd Masud, Schylar Sperl, Hannah Thompson, Clarissa Mueller, and Allison Pickett on what has been (and continues to be) an amazing four-year career at Milford. They have elevated the program to levels never before reached, and their impact will be felt long into the future. Thank you for everything you have done.

Ellie Fight: Girls Golf

Ellie qualified out of the SW Sectional played at Walden Ponds to play in the District Tournament played at Heatherwoode GC. Ellie was tied for first at the District Tournament for individuals, punching her ticket to compete at this coming week's State Tournament at NCR Country Club. What a great year she has had! Good luck Ellie!

Melisa Masiliunaite: Girls Water Polo

Melisa has been a great contributor to Milford water polo this season! During games, she shows determination, competes hard, and works to make a positive impact for her team. Her effort and commitment to improving do not go unnoticed, and we are proud to recognize her hard work and dedication!

Jack Patterson: Boys Soccer

Jack is a leader on the team with the way he plays, with his intelligence, and by making the players around him better. Jack scored the game-winning goal in our win against Oak Hills and was responsible for our goal in a disappointing loss against league rival Little Miami.
