ECC 9-27

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Caylob Brasington and Jayden Bodley: Football

Caylob, a junior, continued his solid season at receiver against Anderson, finishing with seven catches for 87 yards. He now has at least seven catches and 70 yards receiving in three straight games. Jayden, a senior, recorded an interception for the second straight game. This week, he made a touchdown-saving INT in the end zone against Anderson.

Charlie Brocki and Miles Stilphen: Boys Cross Country

Charlie and Miles have emerged as young leaders over the course of the season. They both are always doing the next right thing, encouraging their teammates and keeping the focus on the team over their individual results. Both young men have stepped up into a leadership role and continue to run well. The future of Milford XC is bright with men like this on the team!

Evan Bulluck: Boys Soccer

Evan had a goal and an assist in our 3-1 victory over league rival Walnut Hills. Evan is one of the hardest-working players on the field during practices and games. Evan is a quiet leader who leads by example, and he is a key component to any success the team has had.

Maddie House: Girls Water Polo

Maddie has been the leading goal scorer for our team this season and has made a tremendous impact on our success. On top of that, with our team being without a goalie, she has stepped up and helped in goal whenever needed—showing incredible versatility, selflessness, and dedication. Her willingness to do whatever it takes for the team and her true commitment to competing make her incredibly deserving of this recognition.

Kennedy McAndrew: Girls Soccer

Kennedy was sidelined due to injury for the last two weeks. Her first game back was against an excellent Mason team, and she played like she had never missed a day. She held them to one goal, helping us finish with a tie. She followed up this dominant performance by helping us shut out Mercy McAuley. We are glad she’s back!

Risha Patel: Girls Golf

Risha is recognized for her four years of dedication to the Milford girls golf program. She was our Most Improved Player two years ago, MVP last year, and voted Team Captain this year. Risha played her final home match this past week and will play her final match on Monday. Congrats to Risha on four years of excellence on the course and in the classroom.

Katharine Tamerius: Girls Cross Country

Katharine had a great race at Princeton on Saturday, setting a new career PR and placing in the top 25. This was her first time this season finishing in the scoring top 5 for the Lady Eagles.
