This past week, Aiden Wehrum (football), Madison Cartmell (girls soccer), Max Smith (boys golf), and Evie Cole (cheerleading) received nominations for the Cincinnati Enquirer's Athletes of the Week and Spirit awards. 

The results are in and we have two winners! Congratulations to Max Smith for being named Ohio big-school golfer of the week and to Evie Cole for winning the Enquier Spirit Award!

Winners can email prepsports@enquirer.com to ask for a PDF of their certificate. Once printed, families can take a photo of winners with their certificates for a future gallery displayed on the Cincinnati Enquirer website.

Ohio big-school golfer ‒ Max Smith: He led Milford to a win over West Clermont, shooting a 35 at Friendly Meadows to be medalist on Sept. 10.

Spirit Award ‒ Evie Cole: "Evie is a varsity cheerleader who truly shines as a leader through her unwavering kindness, patience and joyful energy. Her faithfulness and self-control under pressure keep our squad unified, while her constant focus on encouraging others makes her a powerful force for school spirit," according to her coach, Liz Hall.
