Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Camden Barbro and Caylob Brasington: Football
Camden, a sophomore, and Caylob, a junior, keyed the Milford passing game with each player going over 100 yards receiving and scoring a pair of touchdowns against Loveland. Camden caught six passes for 163 yards, with touchdowns of 39 and 48 yards. Caylob, had seven catches for 152 yards, with scores of 61 and nine yards. He also scored his third two-point conversion of the last two weeks. Camden and Caylob become the first Milford duo to record over 100 yards receiving in a game since October 2022.
Audrey Bellar: Girls Cross Country
Audrey led the team on Saturday through the rain and mud at the Little Miami Invitational. With some of the team not racing, she led a host of Lady Eagles who helped the team to a top-five finish amongst a very competitive field of teams.
Faith Hampson: Girls Soccer
Faith has tirelessly supported her team in the middle of the field. She runs box-to-box defending and attacking without any complaints. She is a crucial part to our success on the field, and without her our results would be much different!
Sam Newman: Boys Cross Country
Sam had another great week of racing at the Little Miami Invite. In adverse weather conditions, he continued to run well, lowering his career PR by two seconds on a wet and muddy course. Sam's hard work, consistency, and willingness to race hard have been a huge asset to his team!
Brandon Rude: Boys Soccer
Brandon is the definition of a teammate. He always supports his team by giving his best efforts in practice and in games and playing his role to the best of his ability. The senior had six phenomenal saves in a tough 2-1 loss to Elder this week and backed the team up for 80 minutes of terrific goalkeeping.
Addie Skinner: Girls Golf
Addie posted her career-low 18-hole score during the ECC Postseason Tournament. Not only posting that during the Conference Tournament, it was also a day of horrible conditions. WAY TO GO ADDIE!
