Milford’s Adam Horn wrapped up a successful freshman year of golf, shooting a 79 at the OHSAA District Tournament on Thursday. The event was played at the Beavercreek Golf Club. Horn’s efforts netted him a tie for 18th on the individual leaderboard.

The three teams that will represent the Southwest District at next week’s state tournament are Lakota East, Mason and St. Xavier. Four players from non-qualifying teams tied for second place overall, forcing a playoff. The three players to advance were Tyler Goecke of Carroll, Austin Greaser or Butler and Holden Scirbner.
