GAME REWIND
Taylor Stemmerding got Milford rolling with a second inning grand slam, then the Eagles scored nine runs in their final two at-bats to run past Turpin 13-1. After jumping to the 4-0 lead in the second, it took Milford until the fifth when they unleashed four runs on the Spartans, before tacking on five more in the sixth.
Emily Allphin had the big hit of the fifth with a three-RBI double, while Megan Stulz plated her with an RBI single. The sixth was highlighted by the first career homer, a three-run blast, by freshman Brooklyn Stewart.

GAME REWIND
Katelyn Reynolds wrapped up her Senior Day with a moment to remember as her walk-off single ended the Eagles 10-0 victory over Turpin. The hit was the 150th of the stellar career for Milford’s only Class of 2019 Senior.
The Eagles took no time at all jumping on the Spartans, as they plated five in the bottom of the first. A two-run single by Emily Allphin got things started, with Lilly Copp adding a two-run single of her own. Brooklyn Stewart added a run-scoring double as well.
Milford tacked on two more in the second, one on a Reynolds RBI double and the second on Allphin’s sacrifice fly. Taylor Stemmerding lined an RBI triple in the third, with Reynolds also driving in a run, giving her three for the day.

Milford got the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the seventh inning, but couldn’t capitalize, as Clinton Massie ended the Eagles’ 10-game winning streak with a 7-4 victory. CM held a 3-0 lead after two and a half innings, before the Eagles got on the board with a pair. After the team’s traded runs later, the visitors pulled away with a three-run seventh inning.
Olivia Craycraft led the Eagles with a pair of hits and two stolen bases. She, along with Taylor Stemmerding and Emily Allphin gathered RBI in the contest.
