TOURNEY TALK: The Eagles have earned the No. 6 seed in the Cincinnati sectionals of the OHSAA Tournament, as voted on by the area coaches. GAME REWIND
Milford jumped on Loveland early and never let up, storming the Tigers by a 19-5 score. The Eagles went to work out of the gate, scoring eight times in the first, before adding four more in the second and six more in the third. All told, Milford tallied 26 hits on the day, the most by an Eagles team since a 26-hit outburst against Withrow on April 29, 2016.
The top two in the Milford line-up, sophomore Olivia Craycraft and freshman Taylor Stemmerding, combined to drive in 10 runs, score six and bang out seven hits. Emily Allphin also had four hits and four RBI, while Lilly Copp had four hits and Sam Boothby and Brooklyn Stewart had three each.

GAME REWIND
After scoring seven runs through the first three innings, Milford pulled away from Walnut Hills with a six-run fourth inning to finish off a 13-0 victory. Milford took advantage of 14 walks, with Olivia Craycraft leading the offense with two hits, three runs and three RBI.
MHS got the scoring started with a first inning sac fly by Sam Boothby. A passed ball, an RBI single by Emily Allphin and another Boothby RBI made it 4-0 after two. Katelyn Reynolds had the big hit of the third inning with a two-RBI single.
In the fourth, a two-run single by Molly Bloom and a two-RBI triple by Craycraft were the big hits of the six-run inning. In the circle, Boothby allowed just one hit, while striking out six Walnut hitters.

GAME REWIND
Milford kept the offensive fireworks going, as the Eagles won their eighth straight contest, a 14-2 victory over Walnut Hills. MHS again went to work early and often, scoring five runs in the first, seven more in the second and the final two in the third.
Sophomore Brooke Stansell had a big day, driving in four, while Katelyn Reynolds and Lilly Copp scored three runs each. In the circle, sophomore Emily Allphin made her first start of the season a winning one, allowing just four hits and striking out eight in five innings of work.

COLLEGE BOUND EAGLE: The only senior on the Milford roster this spring has already announced her plans to continue playing softball on the collegiate level next year. Katelyn Reynolds signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Akron beginning this fall.
