A LOOK BACK: January 21 at Oak Hills: Oak Hills 42, Milford 33
GAME REWIND
Milford was held to a season-low 19 percent shooting from the field as they fell to Oak Hills 42-33. After being held to single digits scoring in each of the first three quarters and trailing by 12 after three periods, the Eagles tried to make a game of it in the fourth, clawing within three points on an Azyiah Williams three with 2:17 left to play. But the Highlanders scored eight of the night’s final 10 points to put the victory on ice.

January 26 at Anderson: Anderson 41, Milford 38 (OT)
GAME REWIND
Milford saw a six point fourth quarter lead disappear and lost a chance at the end of regulation on a bizarre play as the Eagles fell in overtime to Anderson, 41-38. Trailing 30-24 just over a minute into the final period, the Redskins ripped off six straight points to tie the game for the fourth time. The score remained tied at 36 through the final 2:16 of the game, setting the stage for a tight finish. With clock winding towards zero, Azyiah Williams put up the potential game-winning shot, only to see the ball lodge between the backboard and the rim. In the OT, Anderson’s Elizabeth Homan hit a three-pointer just over two minutes in that would provide the home team all the points it would need.
