Anderson dominated the first half and never looked back, racing past Milford by a 35-7 final score. With both teams entering the night in a tie for second place in the ECC at 4-1, the Raptors ran up over 300 yards in the first half as they took control early.
Natwan Webster scored Milford’s lone touchdown of the night with a two-yard run in the third quarter. Despite the disparity in yards gained, the Webster score left the Eagle deficit at just 21-7. But in the fourth quarter, Anderson found the endzone twice more to achieve the final 28-point margin of victory.
Anderson ended the night with a sizable 479-102 advantage in total yards. Sawyer Copp led the Milford offense with 36 yards rushing, while Nick Scally had a team-high 15 tackles. Jaxon Stickle finished with 10 stops.
With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Eagles are still chasing a top-three finish in the league and a first round home playoff game. They’ll start their quest for both next Friday night at Lebanon.
