February 5 vs. Winton Woods
Behind a career-night from senior Alex Hannah, Milford led from start to finish of a 66-50 ECC win over Winton Woods. The Eagles’ scoring output matched the team’s second-highest of the season.
Hannah finished with a personal-high 26 points, with the final two coming on a fastbreak dunk in the fourth quarter. Jack Ackermann finished with 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds in just 12 minutes, including 7 of 7 shots from the foul line.
The first half was all Milford as they led 21-7 after the first quarter and 39-17 at halftime. The Warriors moved into a pressure defense in the second half, which resulted in 14 second half Milford turnovers. By night’s end, the Warriors had tallied 22 points off a total of 21 Milford miscues. Despite outscoring the Eagles in both second half quarters, Winton Woods could get no closer than 12 early in the fourth quarter.
