Milford 2025 Senior Parking Spot Painting

We’re excited to announce that Milford High School seniors who have been assigned a main lot or NGC lot pass will have the opportunity to personalize their parking spots for this school year! Please review the important guidelines and timeline below to ensure this process runs smoothly.

Senior Parking Spot Painting – Details & Expectations

Who: All 2025 MHS Seniors with a valid parking permit that has already been purchased
Where: MHS Main Parking Lot and NGC Lot (Paint is not accepted on any other lot)
When:

  • Design Approval, Priming, and Taping– Due by September 18th

  • Painting Day 1 – Sunday September 21st 9am-1pm

  • Painting Day 2 –Sunday September 28th 9am-1pm

Cost: $5.00 per student

Make up days will not be provided. We are shutting down access to these parking lots, so painting must be completed on these dates

You can utilize both dates to paint your space, or get it done in one day

Steps & Guidelines

  1. Submit Your Design:
    All students must submit a sketch or mock-up of their parking space design for approval. Designs must be school-appropriate and follow all MHS conduct guidelines. Please submit to the Google Form that was emailed to you.

  2. Primer may be required depending on your design:
    Students may want to prime their spot before painting with their design. Primer can be applied on Painting Day 1. To avoid priming your spot, you can purchase a paint+primer exterior paint. An example is provided below.

  3. Do NOT Paint Over:

    • Parking Lines – Lines must remain clearly visible.

    • Spot Number – Your spot number must remain visible and unpainted.

    • Touching Up Lines and Number - Administration will provide paint for you to touch up the white lines or number.

  4. Respect the Space:
    Please clean up all supplies, paint cans, and trash before leaving. Be sure to dress appropriately and bring any tools or supplies you may need.


  5. Use appropriate exterior paint. Please see an example below:
