For various reasons a student's lunch money account may fall into the negative. When that happens we privately communicate with the student's parent to let them know. We applaud the recent efforts of our community to contribute toward paying off student lunch debt. We want to be sure that everyone is aware that Milford students do not go hungry - students who have a negative lunch balance are not denied a lunch.

Please help us share this information: If your family is experiencing financial difficulties or if you know someone who is, encourage them to fill out this application for free or reduced-price breakfast and lunches at this website: https://www.lunchapplication.com/ For more information about the program click here: http://www.schoolnutritionandfitness.com/index.php…

Milford is a community full of resources for individuals and families who may find themselves in a time of need. One example is our partner - Feed our Flock - they have food pantries available at the junior high and high school and a freestanding little food pantry at Mulberry Elementary. Their website has more information: https://feedourflock.org/

Contact your child's school if you need additional information or assistance finding more resources. There are multiple food pantries in this area that can help, too.
