Two Milford High School students were recently named National Merit Scholarship finalists.

Seniors Ayla Grabenbauer and Maya Roediger were recently notified that they have become finalists for a National Merit Scholarship to aid in their education after high school.

Grabenbauer and Roediger are two of about 15,000 academically-talented finalists in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship competition, each one of whom has an opportunity to continue competing for about 7,500 scholarships worthy nearly $30 million.

As finalists, Grabenbauer’s and Roediger’s academic records, PSAT/NMSQT Selection Index scores, written recommendations, information about their extra-curricular activities and leadership, and essays will be taken into consideration to determine if they will receive a Merit Scholarship award.
