In November, Ms. Rheinheimer's Honors English 10 classes visited Sem Haven Health and Residential Care Center. In their study of Asian literature, one of the essential questions is "What are the stories that we have to tell?"

The students decided that they wanted to hear the stories of an older generation, and they contacted Sem Haven to create a partnership. They went in pairs and talked to residents, asking about their personal histories. The students then produced "Resident Spotlight" flyers featuring the residents to return to Sem Haven for their personal use.

Thank you, Sem Haven for letting us partner with you! Such valuable lessons were shared between the generations.
