Congratulations, Class of 2014!
Milford High School held its 132 commencement on May 24 at the Cintas Center, where 467 students were awarded their high school diplomas and honored for their academic achievements. The class earned $11.8 million in college scholarship offers, a record for Milford High School.
The top student, Valedictorian Corbin Hooker, earned a full four-year scholarship to Vanderbilt University. He will double major in Political Science and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Corbin took 14 AP classes at Milford High School; earned perfect scores on the SAT subject tests and a 35 on the ACT; and was named a National Commended Merit Scholar and an AP Scholar.
The class Salutatorian, Maxwell Charles Hartley, will double major in International Business and Finance and minor in Government at Georgetown University, where he is receiving a scholarship. Max took 11 AP classes, earned a 34 on the ACT, as well as being named a National Merit Commended Student and AP Scholar with Distinction.
