Project Details 

The total project cost is $67.46 million. The OFCC will contribute approximately $11.5 million to the project. The local share/bond issue amount will cover the remaining $55.9 million.

The project includes:

  • Abating and demolishing the current Milford Junior High School
  • Construction of a new middle school to house grades 6-8. The OFCC has estimated that the total size of the building will be 215,000 sq. ft. The building will be built to house approximately 1,600 students.
  • Design and construction of improved traffic circulation on the high school/junior high campus.
  • Possible abatement and demolition of Miami Elementary School building, current site of Milford Preschool, Milford Extended Day, and Milford Academy.
