2020 NEWS

HUGE NEWS! In November,we will be partnering with David Armbruster from iHeartRadio! iHeartRadio will be letting our students record our show in an Actual Radio Studio!!!!! David will help coach the students on Radio performance, record and edit the production for us. We are so excited!

CHANGE FOR SPRING 2021 - Unfortunately, we had to postpone Mama Mia until Spring 2022. ABBA will not let schools live stream the production. So, my creative team and I put our heads together because we felt very strongly about doing a spring show. Due to tight funds because of the cancelation of High School Musical and not having the revenue from ticket sales, we had to be clever on our show choice. February 2021 we will be Live Streaming Shrek The Musical Jr!

Jonathan Groff!!!!!!! If you haven't heard, Tony nominated performer for his role as King George in Hamilton, the voice of Kristoff in the Frozen movies, star of the Netflix series Mind Hunter, and currently in Berlin working on the new Matrix movie with Keanu Reaves.....Jonathan Groff is going to do a Zoom with our students!!! We do not know an exact date yet but this is unbelievable. All from a Facebook post of Mrs. Arber wearing a Hamilton mask. Dreams do come true.

Intl Thespian Society

Drama Club

Drama Club is an active group of students in all high school grade levels.  In addition to acting, opportunities are also available for those not wishing to appear on stage.  Students are needed to work lights, sound, design and create props, build sets, and work in production.  There is a place for everyone.  In a typical school year, the theatre season consists of two plays and one musical per school year along with one kid's workshop, a student cabaret night, and an evening of student directed one-acts. Auditions and rehearsals are held at Milford High School. The time commitment for each production varies depending on an individual’s role.  Rehearsal attendance is imperative.  It is a great place to meet other people and have fun.
