Supply List 2010-2011

Milford Junior High includes about 950 students in grades 7-8.  The teaching staff works in the team teaching concept which means teachers from the main core subjects work together with the same group of students.  This allows for cross-curricular lessons and enables teachers to better know their group of students and what is necessary to help them succeed. 

Milford Junior High is overcrowded similar to Milford High School.  Construction is underway at the junior high to build a new wing onto the building.  The wing will include four new classrooms.  The school will use those rooms and modular classrooms to provide additional space for an anticipated growth in enrollment in the coming years.  The four new classrooms are part of the district's Master Plan for new construction in the entire district. 

Milford Junior High offers college prep and honors classes for students who qualify.  The school also offers a variety of opportunities for students to be involved in activities after school including athletics and clubs.
