Marketing Management and Research a one credit class during the junior year is designed to introduce students with the skills necessary to lead a marketing department in today’s changing environment. Curriculum mapping between the career-technical curriculum and the related academic curricular, leads to integrated, contextual learning projects and experiences. The Ohio Career-Technical Competency Assessments (OCTCA) and DECA Career Development Competitive Events measure program performance.
Basic Skills:
Reading, writing, business math, and speaking are integrated into the Marketing Management and Research curriculum.

Senior Year:
Major Goals/Concepts/Objectives:
Marketing Management and Research a five credit program during the senior year is designed to reinforce students with the skills necessary to lead a marketing department in today’s changing environment. Curriculum mapping between the career-technical curriculum and the related academic curricular, leads to integrated, contextual learning projects and co-op work-based experiences. The Ohio Career-Technical Competency Assessments (OCTCA) and DECA Career Development Competitive Events measure program performance. Successful graduates have the opportunity to earn 11 to 14 college credits from Hocking Tech, Cincinnati State, or U.C. Clermont.
In addition, seniors would be in great position to take the “Principles of Marketing” CLEP test that upon passing would give them 3 college credits at colleges that accept the CLEP “Principles of Marketing” test.
